I ordered a mesquite lamp on Etsy that came in broken. The hardware was bent, the wooden foundation was cracked through, and the stain was distorted by the bubble wrap, after failing to properly cure. I had considered using my refund to hire someone to fix it, but after getting a few quotes, I brought it to Woodcraft to see what they'd say.

They set me up with all the materials and tools I'd need to fix the breaks. I had a little bit of experience helping to work with wood, but none on my own. Several of the gents there were willing to listen to what I wanted, answer questions, and make their recommendations.

Because of their help, my lamp is now fixed and proudly displayed in my home.

Amazing selection of tools, finishes and accessories. Nice selection of exotic woods, and small plywood pieces for crafts. They even offer project kits for the kids and woodworking classes for adults. Jaime was very helpful, and best of all, knowledgeable. He answered questions I didn’t know I had. The vibe here is cool, they are not snobbish or holier than thou, they are there to help and get you excited about woodworking.

Make sure you have time to browse and money to spend. Adam was very helpful, the wood variety and stock are good, the store is easy to find, and they're open on the weekends. I just wish I'd win the lottery so I could take all their classes.

I bought a used tool that had a wood handle. It was rusty and a mess. It had a weird looking wood handle and looked really old. I was hoping to have it identified by its strange wood. I called woodcraft because I live in manchester. They asked me to take pictures of the wood and email it them. They took the time to research the wood, they then identified it and said it’s a very rare brazilian wood that’s around 150
Years old. They did all this work knowing nothing was in it for them. 5 star. Mom and pop personal treatment
