Food was pretty good, not the best. The atmosphere and service were exceptional! Try this place out for a cozy little dinner or get together.

Took another trip to Midway, this time to eat at the Goose and Gander!! It was great! The food was amazing, I had the grilled pork chops with apple butter and a side of mashed potatoes with gravy and stewed apples. The Mrs had the fried chicken club and it was huge. The couple with us had the hot brown and the Goose cubano! When we return for another visit we will have to try the pizza, so many tables were enjoying the pizza selections!

We ate here for the first time tonight. The Brussel sprouts were melt in your mouth delicious. We had the Pesto and Mozarella Pizza. It was yummy! Our server was fabulous. I accidentally left my purse and the server met me at the door with it. Such a wonderful space, and relaxing atmosphere.

My friend and I met here for Christmas, Such a lovely place, I enjoyed the festive decorations ☺️ If you're ever up for a nice dinner date or find yourself hungry in Midway, The Goose and Gander is the place to go!!!

Casual dining, comfortable relaxed atmosphere, tasty food with excellent presentation. Portions are generous but not gluttonous. Iced tea was excellent, with a wide variety of other options. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking a bit scarce.

The Goose and Gander ... tough one. Right there for a 5 star rating, but don't charge me a $1 for a square cube of frozen water! This said, the food was good, the drinks (with the costly cube) we're needed and excellent. Got The Brown and it was delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal and town was old, cute and had something for everyone.

The atmosphere was pleasant with good service. The Bourbon cocktail was tasty and had a good temperature. We had sandwiches and sides. The chicken salad was good, but it was not served on a croissant as described in the menu (but a neighboring table got a croissant? ). The fish sanwich was a 4-5 (on a 0-10 scale)...fried a little too long for the slight cut of fish (expected a more hearty cut). I asked for onion, tomato, & pickle that all went well with the tartar sauce. The sides were the stars...fried Brussel Sprouts were served hot and tasty...the same for the French fries.
