I was referred here to see Amber Armstrong in 2022. When she finally started at Family Summit we had one visit and she asked me to order labs from a company in Southern California. I was confused about that and asked her why the hospital couldn't run those tests. She said the insurance wouldn't pay for it and they would be more expensive. So I proceeded. Amber then left and never returned to Family Summit.
I then learnt from my insurance that they covered labs, however not the labs from the place Amber asked me to order the tests from. I went back to the office to discuss that I was given the clear direction by my doctor to get the labs in a place that was out of network. I called the office 5 times and never heard back. I was always promised to receive a call back. Ultimately, I received a letter stating that the office would not cover the lab cost.

Be not fooled by photos on the walls or cheery first impressions. Should you be a low income Medicare recipient looking for higher quality care, you won't get it it from this husband and wife team.
The receptionist alone is reason to never walk through their doors. I was
Profiled, Bullied into meds I knew were going to be a mistake then refused care after they nearly killed me. Gaslighting at it's highest level. DR. Laura was negligent, my life will never be the same due to her.
Go with your instincts.
If I had I'd still be a functioning member of society. Be your own advocate.

Dr. Buser was an angel fallen from Heaven. He was the On-call Doctor when I was rushed to the Hood River memorial hospital due to having my 2nd child at home accidentally. I moved to Hood River, in 2015 I had so much trouble finding a doctor here in this small town and I really didn’t want another MD family Dr. prior as to my other Doctor at the Providence Gateway medicine was always so busy, felt always rushed by her and felt like she was never compassionate towards me and my first born child. When, I met Buser in the labor & delivery room first thing he told me, was his name and that he was a Medical family medicine doctor from a small clinic up from the hospital, but saw his patients & baby mom’s at the hospital and told me everything will be fine we will take care of you. The next day he said I’d like for you guys to come see and try our clinic out, but your totally free to seek elsewhere. I didn’t have to think twice and I said this will be our family doctor!! Best decision I ever made, best doctor ever! He’s been our doctor for 5 years. Very Humble, caring, compassionate and he actually really listens to all my concerns. The staff are amazing MA is always so sweet. Marissa & Jazmin are super friendly and try their best to get you seen by any other doctor so you don’t make a trip to the ER. If, I could give more stars I would. ♥️

liars, thieves, and worste medical descision of my life ten fold dealing with this clinic. If your on social security Im sure you will get along fine though.
In my personal opinion, Dr Buser belongs in a prison cell for the choas and trauma his self serving compilation of ridiculous lies and false representations have caused me. thanks doc. back is doin great!👍

Wonderful group of physicians and office staff. Several small Dr. offices in one building. Each is separately run with apparently great communication between them.

Had the pleasure of working with Deana Dahl, NP, in one office and Dr Chardonnay Vance in another. It was seamless. It felt like a throw back to the old days of medicine when the team cares about the individual and has more than 2.5 minutes to rush between patients.

I have been with Ben Pate ,PA for years. He always listens to my needs and very compasionate about my medical needs. I always enter and leave with a smile. Great staff all around and I am grateful for their dedication to patients. I am not treated like a number. I'm treated like a family member.

No long waits. Great options for a variety of problems we all suffer. Thanks Ben and Staff for always being accommodating and really helping me thru rough times.
