Today, for the first time, I encountered a power outage at my home, and I must say it was entirely unproductive due to the absence of electricity. I was unable to access the internet for work, and I couldn't even leave for the office because my garage door wouldn’t function. I couldn’t charge my devices, nor could I finish my tasks that needed to be completed. Although the weather wasn’t particularly cold, we couldn’t get any heat because of the power loss. Since it’s Ramadan, I needed to prepare food before dusk, and doing so without power turned out to be quite challenging. We lost power around 5 am, and now, nearly 6 pm, it has been over 12 hours without electricity. I don’t understand why they can’t seem to ensure the power supply during storms. A brief storm can result in a power outage lasting more than a day. Despite the need for a continuous power supply in our homes, the electric company hasn’t found a way to prevent power interruptions. They take their time deciding when to restore power, and it appears that no one at the electricity company cares about the struggles of the people. Many individuals are ill or have children who depend on electrically powered devices for survival, yet I doubt they genuinely care. I don’t understand why it takes them over 12 to 20 hours to restore power; there should be numerous ways to reduce outages during storms. It’s 2025—why are we still depending on outdated methods? Additionally, our internet was down due to the power outage, and they kept updating the restoration time throughout the day for no reason. I believe there are serious issues within the electricity company that prevent them from restoring power in a timely manner. Furthermore, their customer service support lines went down so they wouldn’t have to deal with suffering customers. What rude behavior they exhibit during a time when more support for customers is needed.

Worst electric provider ever. If there is a small scale outage on the weekend you can kiss communication goodbye. They don't care about you, your groceries, your comfort, anything. I can't cook, do laundry, store food or do anything a modern human should. I can't use the internet and I have to waste my cars gasoline to charge my phone. Is there going to be any sort of compensation? I doubt it. This service is piss poor and these people should be ashamed of themselves. They also use automated voices on their customer service line so you can't actually voice your opinions to them. I find the whole ordeal very disrespectful. When I move out, I'll make sure my electricity is not served by these guys.

I’m not sure if this will reach the caller that helped me 3/5 at around 6 pm but I wasn’t able to leave a review on the phone and I really wanted to. I never caught her name and hopefully if she sees this she knows it’s about her but she literally is heaven sent. Best customer service ever and she really gave me confidence in making my own decisions for what I need. She’s for sure Heaven sent. If you ever see this, thank you again.

Terrible service in every way possible. Zero customer service, repairs are always delayed in multiple days. 5 days without power while my neighbor was out two.! The last three outages it's been that way. My dad is 81 and lost everything in his freezer. This time they say 4 days we aren't holding our breaths.. Do not use this company

I got scammed by a lady who was supposed to be an agent who could find me cheaper electricity. I was a scam! I called oncor, and they could care less and still charged me for the scam. I really wanted them to look into it, to keep it from happening to someone else. They didn't care and just said pay up! If you check your bill look at the insane amount they charge ro provide the electricity to your electric company it will be the same or maybe even more than your electricity usage, mine was close to $200 this month.
