I had my PRK laser eye surgery done by Dr. Strickland. I chose PRK over LASIK for both eyes based on my personal risk considerations and concerns for best long-term outcomes, and it was absolutely worth it (even with the much longer recovery time) since I ended up with 20/15 vision and am still at that level more than a year after surgery. Dr. Strickland has an incredible amount of experience in both LASIK and PRK and was a great doctor to have from initial consultation all the way through recovery and check-ups over time to make sure everything went smoothly. His office is also run efficiently, so I never had any issues or super long wait times for appointments. I'd strongly recommend him if you're looking into laser surgery or even if you just need a new eye doctor for regular visits.

My first appointment with Middletown Eye Care was an eye opening experience! From sign in to sign out, I felt cared for and important! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient! The two assistants that guided me through some preliminary testing and questioning were proficient and exact! Doctor Strickland was fantastic in the quick and informative way he proceeded to assess my eyes and directed me to take some extra care of them! When I left, I noticed how full the waiting room had gotten, but all of the people who had been waiting with me had already received service! Best eye appointment ever!! Thank you so very much!

Awesome!  20/20 Near vision, AND 20/20 Far vision, after Cataract Surgery!!   20/20!  How good is that!?  My Internist (for over 30 years) recommended I go see Dr. Burns a few years ago and I’m so glad for it!    As I aged, I developed cataracts.   Dr. Burns and I agreed that after 20+ years of “mono-vision” contact lenses (left eye for reading, right eye for distance), the same arrangement for my eyes after removing my cataracts would be the correct choice - and I’m so glad we did!  The surgery is all complete, and I’m so delighted — my vision is PERFECT!  His staff and entire operation is terrific.  I now have 20/20 vision again!  Highly Recommend!

The front desk intake staff kindly answer all my questions and process information in a timely manner. When I called with an issue that developed from an unknown origin they were able to schedule me into an appropriate appointment time. My issue was evaluated and a proper treatment plan initiated quickly. This same quality of service has prevailed for the 20 plus years I have been with this practice. Consistence of Quality Service is their heritage.

Update. Surgery went well. Had to have a little tweak. Still slight issue with one eye, but working on fixing it.
