They make mistakes sometimes and you might get told you didn't return a book that you returned months ago so check your receipts when you check out and make sure nothing has been "rechecked" out. However they will correct it and apologize. I sent a check for the bill they sent me for a book we returned months ago that was lost for some reason and they sent a note to apologize, invite us to kids activities, and they voided my check and sent it back. Overall they are a good library and want to keep people coming in.

First off, the staff is super friendly! It’s a nice quiet place to hang out. I do however wish that they had a greater selection of items and had more up to date movie releases. I also wish that they would share selections with Danville to offer more choices to people. At other libraries I’ve been to they had great apps you could look at to see when your books were due back and even place items on hold. That could be helpful to many people. Either way though, it’s a great place!

"A Discovery of Witches", auth/Deborah Harkness - I'd seen Season 1 (Book 1) on Amazon Prime Video & had started Book 2. I was advised by Trisha that I "MUST" read Book 1, as it was excellent and the video series just wasn't good enough. HOW RIGHT SHE WAS!! I'm in the midst of the book, now, and so many pertinent details were left out of the movie. I'm absolutely hooked & all I want to do is read til the end. Trisha, thank you for being a "book pusher"!!!!

Truly the worst library I have been in Kentucky. Trying to connect to the Internet took like 20 minutes due to the system not processing my acceptance of the terms of usage screen, the system having issues with my VPN service, and then once connected, dropping my connection repeatedly. The only library in Kentucky where you can't bring drinks, even in a spill proof container like other libraries. Going backwards in time, they also don't have the capability to print directly from a personal laptop or smartphone like other libraries. I have been to every library in Lexington, Versailles, Lawrenceburg, Nicholasville and Frankfort without any of these issues. Sad that I just moved to a county where I can't even use my own library. So gave up, packed all my stuff and going back to using Anderson County's library in Lawrenceburg.

It's a beautiful and relatively new library. Plenty of books for children and adults. Free wifi and quiet reading area's.
