Our family has been using the Meade County offices for 2 years, primarily for car registrations - new, old, transfers, titling, etc.. Always polite and knowledgeable, the ladies in the DMV are always spot on.

Been living in Meade co over 20 years been dealing with Meade Co dmv for multiple years, they have always been kind to us and service has been pretty fast unless you go close to Holidays it can get busy.

The only thing now is the state has done away with getting an ID/permit/license in county which is a huge inconvenience for a lot of folks especially people who don’t like to leave county or can’t leave county not sure who made this decision but it wasn’t the best choice to make in my opinion because Elizabethtown is booked solid for several months.
I do hope they bring it back to the local courts.

The Meade County Clerk's office is hands down the best DMV I've dealt with. Every worker has always been nice, helpful and quick to lend a hand with all my motor vehicle registration/taxes, voter registration, and marriage license needs throughout the eleven years I have lived in Meade County.

They are detailed and that is their job ... it might not be convenient for everyone but they have a responsibility. Ive been in their office 3 times in the last 4 months, all different things ... but they've always been friendly, knowledgable, helpful and much faster than other county clerks I've visited Meade County's Clerk office deserves 5 stars....keep up your good work.

I just wanted to share an experience that I just had with Angie, she was very professional and courteous. She helped resolve an issue I was having with a tax bill that was sent to the wrong address. She even emailed me a paid copy of the paid tax bill which I thought was above and beyond what she needed to do.

If I could give 1/2 of a star I would. Why is it that EVERY TIME I call this office to just have a simple question answered, the ladies are rude with me? I’ve even had them take my name and number and say that would call me back but never do. Today I called to asked about my divorce decree (my divorce was finalized in July, and I filed the form for decree at the end of Sept). The very first thing this lady said to me was, “well, we’re short staffed so we don’t have the people to find that information.” Are you kidding me?!?!
I’m just wondering, why is it necessary for every one to be rude? Isn’t your job to assist people? Or that’s at least part of these ladies job description, correct?

Just waited in a longer line than usual to get tags and registration on my vehicle. I was told, by the clerk waiting on me that I had to go and have property removed from my taxes from past vehicles down the hall in order to get my current one complete. I was also told by that clerk that was waiting on me, when finshed from having my prior vehicles taken care of, that I could come back thru the exit door and continue my process with them on getting my current vehicle's registration, without getting back in line. Upon doing so, I came back thru the exit door to continue my process, only to be told by another clerk, that she had gone to lunch, and she didnt wait on me, so I would have to get back in the line, that was even longer than before. Mind you, I would not have been as aggravated at the process, if I was told from the beginning that Upon returning, that I would have to get back in line, but that is not what was explained to me, nor was it said that the same clerk had to wait on me.
I feel whomever is in charge of the process there, needs to get the clerks on the same page, and to not misinform anyone of how you operate your business.

Customer service is important and I have seen nothing but helpful folks working in the Meade County Clerk office. The option to renew registration by mail, website or even telephone can make some tasks much easier to accomplish.
