Maines Hardware has been open for over 50 years, great service, need something but not quite sure what, they will help you figure it out! Plus, best place for Christmas Candy:) They have a lumber yard in rear and if they done have it , they can get it for you!

They have a little bit of everything and the employees are very willing to help you find what you need. The greenhouse and lumber selections are very good considering it's a somewhat smaller store. Prices are not much higher than the big box stores, if at all.

A good-sized store with a little bit of everything, even bulk candy! The plants & greenhouse are bigger than I expected. Employees are always helpful. Prices on some items rival the big-box stores.

Convenient local hardware store. Usually has a display of trains, tractors ot something to check out. Decent knife selection as well. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Around the holidays the store had an enormous selection of old fashion candies. All and all, a great local business, that has been open for the community for as long as I can remember, and I'm in my forties.

Helped me find a pipe-threaded drain bolt for my buddy's Bush Hog gear box and on the first try. Very helpful, no air of condescension or anything for such a novice request. Pretty good selection of items for small jobs or projects for a small town hardware store. As expected prices are a little higher. Staff are friendly and ready to help. Even the owner is on hand to help as well most days
