Two weeks ago, I had the pleasure of gathering 18 fathers from one of the preschools in Verona and bringing them to Jimmy’s Family Kitchen for spaghetti and meatballs. I told them ahead of time they were going to be blown away—and they absolutely were.

Having visited Italy twice for 10-day vacations, I know firsthand the difference between authentic Italian cuisine and the American interpretation. Let me just say: out of all the Italian restaurants I’ve visited in New Jersey, Jimmy’s Family Kitchen is running neck and neck with the food I experienced in Italy itself. It’s that good.

I’ve tried nearly every entrée on the menu—except the eggplant (I’m not an eggplant guy, but my wife is!). Every dish has been consistently delicious and authentic. This small, family-owned gem delivers not only amazing food but also exceptional service. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the owners and staff go above and beyond with their professionalism.

For our event, the tables were beautifully prepared ahead of time, and within 15 minutes of sitting down, entrees started arriving. Everything was smooth, timely, and absolutely delicious. The fathers left impressed, satisfied, and grateful for the experience.

I highly recommend Jimmy’s Family Kitchen to anyone looking for a true taste of Italy right here in New Jersey. It’s more than a meal—it’s a culinary experience. Thank you, Jimmy’s, for making every visit extraordinary!

Came here for dinner with my in-laws and fiancé. Food was amazing and cocktails are very good. Definitely recommend the meatballs as they’re made fresh everyday like everything else on the menu. You can taste the freshness in the food. Already made my next dinner reservation!

I can’t say enough good things about Jimmy’s Family Kitchen. Just had a baby shower and everything was amazing. Brian is very accommodating and wants to make sure you get exactly what you need and ask for. Him and his team go above and beyond to meet your expectations and they did not fail! They gave us plenty of time prior to the event to set everything up and made sure everything was customizable. The food is outstanding and the service is wonderful. I will definitely be using Jimmy’s for future regular visits/ more events and 10/10 would recommend everyone else to go there as well. You will not be disappointed!

Since they opened, we've hosted multiple family events here—a bridal shower, a rehearsal dinner, and two family repasts—and every single time, they have delivered above and beyond our expectations. Brian and his team consistently hit it out of the park with their outstanding food and top-notch service. They are incredibly accommodating, taking the time to understand our needs, including navigating food allergies and diverse preferences.

For each event, they worked with us to create special, unique menus that impressed all of our guests. Even when we requested custom dishes and cocktails that weren’t on the menu, they went out of their way to make it happen. They provided ample time for us to set up and personalize each event, and the staff was always helpful, ensuring that every detail was just right. Jimmy’s has become our go-to place for family gatherings, and we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic local spot with food and service that’s second to none. 10/10!

I went to Jimmy’s Family Kitchen tonight for dinner with my wife daughter and son in law. The food is always fresh, delicious and the portions are large. This was my third time having dinner here, and can’t wait to come back. The deserts are second to none. The tiramisu is the best I have ever had. We also had my daughter’s bridal shower here last weekend and everyone is still talking about it. Brian treats you like family and goes out of his way to make a customer happy.

Tried Jimmy’s for first time with our kids during a family night promo. Modern comfort decor was warm. Music could have been a little louder to make families comfy. Sometimes paper order taking may be easier as our waiter had trouble taking orders on a digital device BUT the food was great. Personal pref is to have a little lighter on the sauce BUT the sauce was good. The meatball app was excellent. The penne vodka was delish and the eggplant parm done right. Met the owner and he was super courteous as he made rounds to ensure all were happy. The prices were a little high for a Verona spot but the food is worth it for a special occasion. I recommend!
