I’ve stayed at the Hollowman Inn before and it was fine, but this recent visit was disappointing. The rate jumped from $89 to $99, which wouldn’t be a big deal if the service and quality matched the price — but they don’t. Everything felt more mediocre this time around. The level of care and attention has clearly dropped, and it shows. For what they’re charging now, I expected better. Definitely not the same experience as before. You’d figure being on base they would do more to help the service members out, however they don’t. Don’t waste your time or money here.

We stayed at the pet friendly tlf a 2 bedroom. It was newly remodeled. The beds were comfy the shower was nice good water pressure. There is plenty of space there was 4 of us and 2 pets. It's located across the street from the ball fields so there is a nice track to walk playground and a playground right behind our building. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. The receptionist at the check in was very helpful. I also loved the fact that there was no tv in the kids room so no temptation to watch TV and not sleep 🙂

In the newly renovated rooms there is no way do adjust the AC/Heat. 82 degrees in the room and “it is what it is.” No ventilation in the bathroom which causes a terrible odor throughout the entire room. Fire alarms all the time because in the kitchenette, there is no vent/fan above the stove so all the smoke goes straight into the room.

Clean rooms, great staff, best bang for your buck for military members and retired vets. Military lodging has gone in a positive direction since my young recruit days. Smart thinking looking towards federal employees and retired vets as a continual source of filling vacancies...

Small rooms but fine for short stays. Plenty of things to do on and off base. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Lobby has 24hr coffee and a small snack bar. Open wifi so bring a cat-5 cable if you are more secure minded.

Stayed at a newly renovated building. I had a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. No mold here! If you look closely, some furnishings show their age but it adds to the charm. Standard lodging facilities.

For around a month, we have stayed in 3, pet friendly, TLF rooms. We’ve changed rooms due to our travels between two cities. Although the rooms are somewhat outdated as far as furniture/appeal goes (which is expected for most Air Force TLF), our stay overall has been good. The rooms are clean, the appliances are updated, the staff (maintenance/front desk/housekeeping) are nice, and the location on base is great (right down the street from the BX/commissary). I have barely been able to hear neighbors, I think maybe once but it was very, very faint. The only downfall of these rooms is the water pressure/temperature in the shower. In each room, we’ve had issues with the water. The water switches between hot/cold and in our first room, the pressure was too hard, but in our last room, the pressure wasn’t good. Other than the water issue, everything else has been good! Our dog likes all the walking paths/open spaces to explore. The park at the TLF is new and seems nice! In addition, the laundry rooms are abundant. It always is what you make out of it, but we had a good time here.
