Lived here for nearly 3 years for my assignment. Cost has gone from $400 a month for a concrete pad spot with electrical/water/sewage hookups, to $500 last year, and recently $600 late 2024. There's no electricity or water costs/fees currently which are big plus. Laundry is available but costs quarters for wash/dry (was free a few years ago). There are cheaper dry camp options but I'd have to look up holloman outdoor rec to see what they are.

The host tries to do a communal event ~once every few months with folks bringing food/drinks. They rent a bouncy castle for kids or use one the big outdoor rec displays for a movie night.

Camp is wonderful! One thing needed is a dog park and kids park! Facility is clean and Lorri is wonderful and has 24hr phone service if you have a problem. I was able to reach her during closed hours. More trees and shrubs would be wonderful to spruce things up! Facility is nice and clean as well.

This trip was supposed to be only 3 nights but turned into two weeks! Our family really likes the location and scenery. The facilities are clean and the camp host Lori is very kind and professional. The mountains are in full view of the park. Close to mountain attractions and national parks like White Sands National Park.

Campground is clean and well maintained. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. I loves that every spot has an outdoor table including dry camping spaces. The full hookup spots are level and spacious. We will definitely try to stay here again. Only thing I wish they would do is have a playground for children closer to the campground without having to trek through housing to find one and maybe a fenced dog park closer. Outside of that it is a wonderful campground.

WiFi is very poor in the campground. Had to find other places on base like lodging. Laundry was clean, two washers and dryers stacked. $1.75 for washer, $1.50 for dryer.
Sites were all pull through, level and clean. $30 per day for full hookup. Great for base camp while visiting local attractions. Commissary. Some road noise as camp is close to Rt 70. No reservations, first come first served.

My wife and I love this little RV park. The RV park manager Lorie is such a delight. She is very friendly and a delight to work with and to talk too.
Now for a realistic review on this Park. But before I get started, I want it noted that the Airforce on this post does not provide much support for Lorie and the needs of this RV park.
Here we go. The lots are level. Some are gravel and some are concrete. Some have small pavilions on the side of your slot and some do not.

Cons: There is no doggie park, no playground for the kidos and the wifi is and has been virtually non exsistent for the past couple years that we have been coming here. These issues are a reflection of the leadership here on post and has nothing to do with the RV park Manager. As far as I see it any request to fix these issues and to improve the park for its Military veterans falls upon def ears. You will have Aircraft flying over head it that is something that may bother you.

Pros: Park Manager is wonderful. Restrooms, showers and laundry rooms are ALWAYS clean and stocked with amenities. Monthly rates are very reasonable at this park. The electric, sewer, and water are always consistent with no issues. The park is Very easy to get to once you come through the gate. The park is only 10 miles from white sands national park. If you have never been? It is an awesome place to visit. Other Places to visit during your stay would be the cute town of Ruidoso 40 minute drive into the mountains.. The Mountain of the Gods Casino is awesome with incredible views. ROSWELL is a short drive as well and Cloudcroft is a cute town in the mountains with a beautiful drive. The mountains here are incredible. The park has started a movie night on a huge big screen, they also have food to share and an occasional pot luck for those who chose to partake. My wife and I still enjoy staying here every year dispite the CONS here. We like the base which has a wonderful BBQ place on post and 3 food trailers in the PX parking lot and the food court inside. Do not expect too many RV items in the PX (slim stock). Again this is an honest review and by no way are we bashing this park. I am hearing that they are planning on building a doggie park and may have updated wifi in the near future. Crossing our fingers that the LEADERSHIP here will open up there hearts and start providing the Manager here with the things she dreams about for this park to support our Military active duty and retired veterans. Thank you to those who read my review to the end.
