The breakfast sandwich is great, love the bread. Took home made beer cheese to go. Don't think we can ever go back to grocery beer cheese! Comfortably charming environment for visiting family.

Always loved this place hadn't been here in over 4 years. Drove 30 minutes to get here just to experience the food again. Totally worth the drive. Very fun mom and pop store with a good atmosphere very approachable and friendly staff working as always.

2 stars because food was tasty.
Paper thin roast beef sandwich.
Salad made wrong. Missed ingredients, order was taken correctly.
Very stingy, best to raise prices and give decent portions.
Very dissatisfied. Nothing like it used to be.
Lacking customer service, except for the young lady who took the order. Definitely not inviting. After speaking on the phone to a gentleman regarding the salad, I was informed that I would have to bring it back. Period. Didn’t get an apology, ask what was wrong or any remorse. Just Bring it back.
Couldn’t wait to try the place after hearing about it for so many years, will never go back, unless it becomes under new management.

I've driven by here for years and never stopped in. Always thought the outside was plain and uninviting. First visit, the inside looks great, staff was friendly, the food..... not so good. Wrap was very plain and nothing special about it, on the small side. Coleslaw was bland. Side salad, the dressing probably cost more than the rest of the ingredients. (Not knocking the dressing, I like that brand) The soup my wife got tasted like it wasn't cooked long enough because it still had a flour taste to it. Best part was the bread bowl. Idk if they make them in house or buy them from someone else. I don't usually do bad reviews but this was a bit of a disappointment. I'm not sure I would come back.

I'm leisurely enjoying the Beer Cheese Trail and decided to stop in for a sandwich and beer cheese. If you're into oven-baked sandwiches, this place is a must! I ordered the Italian and really liked it. It was full of flavor! The beer cheese was excellent as well. It had a bit of a kick, which is how I like it.

I needed a place to cater for my mom’s funeral. I gave Gaunce’s a call and spoke with the manager- Tiffany. I cannot say enough kind things about her and her team. They went above and beyond- from helping me pick out the items, to making sure we had everything we needed (utensils, plates, trays, etc.) and the biggest thing of all; she said they don’t typically deliver, but they made an exception for this occasion. Everyone loved the food, it was simple but delicious. Thank you to Tiffany and her crew at Gaunces!!! You guys are awesome and deserve all the stars!!!
