We had a great stay at the Element in Bend! Our room was very spacious, clean, and well-appointed with dishes, a small kitchen, a work area, and large bed. Breakfast each morning was delicious with an individually prepared egg dish, yogurts, cereals, fruit, etc. We definitely enjoyed the daily happy hour with wine, craft beers, and snacks. What a nice way to relax in the evening! Our stay was made even better by Shelley who greeted us when we checked in and took care of us at happy hour. She made us feel very welcome. We definitely recommend this hotel!

My room was standard no complaints.

However, I was told this hotel has a great breakfast.

When I went up to the window for the hot choice , I was offered Biscuits and gravy.

Unfortunately I am lactose intolerant. I asked if the was anything else. The answer was no.

I watched a man later in line served egg bites and sausage. Interesting I thought…,

After the first night, housekeeping didn't show up at all. After the second night, they showed up early and often, OVER AND OVER AGAIN, even after I asked them to stop. I was trying to sleep, was really stressful!

Room was nice enough, though a bit dirty and scuffed up. I paid extra for the fancy-pants one-bedroom. Apparently "city view" means a view of the (noisy) freeway.

Also, more minor, but still annoying: staff made me come downstairs when I asked for a comb. They should offer to bring it up.

Not a 3-star hotel in my book, and I won't return.

This is our fourth time staying at this Element in Bend, easily located off the freeway
Upon our late check in 11:30 at night after driving for 6 hours upon check-in and we were greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly face!
Our room was very nicely appointed and extremely clean I was really really impressed being a hotel person for 30 years. The bed was very comfortable and just the right amount of bathroom amenities.

We will always stay at this hotel!! and I highly suggest you do as well!

I have 30 bucks refund. They told me to refund me in a couple days. But I haven’t gotten the refund yet. I paid more than 500 bucks for deposit. They used 470 bucks. They don’t really care about refund. The stuff at the front doesn’t know how to check the data for tefund.
The dishwasher broke twice in the four days stays. I asked them to fix. But they didn’t.
Breakfast is far below the standard. I asked them to make fried egg or just scramble eggs but they say they can’t make it even they have egg menu in the breakfast. The fruit were all frozen food except blue berry. Coffee is a good taste but the pot was out once. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I feel they overcharge.

Rooms were clean and well equipped. Fitness center was one of the best I have seen in a hotel most hotels have very minimal equipment in their fitness closet. Pool and hot tub looked clean but didn't personally experience since public pools and hot tubs aren't my thing. Bikes available for use. Across the street from a park and access to Deschutes River Trail. Complementary breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Carpet in hallways needs replaced showing signs of heavy use. Outside fire was a pleasant surprise. Overall a pleasant stay.

Amazing experience at Element Bend. They have a daily special of gourmet breakfast - I got the chicken sausage, toast with blueberry ricotta and egg soufflé bites. The rooms are clean and spacious. The gym, pool and hot tub are great addition as well. Location is right at the heart of downtown and right across Pioneer Park, which made it easy for us to walk the dog in the morning.

Nice hotel, the room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was good and my daughters had a good time at the swimming pool.
I did not understand the fees for the overnight parking when the hotel is not really located in a place where parking is really an issue and not even guarded. It looked a bit like hidden fees... I'm glad I only spent 1 night.
