leaving a 5 star because they've been great BUT your hours are not great. For those that work a full workday, getting to your store M-F is not an option. I'd PREFER to go to CHC but am unable to most of the time.

Bought a gallon of paint went right home , about 30 minutes after i bought it I stirred it again and started painting and the paint was so thick you couldn’t hardly roll it on the walls and it left the walls streaked after it was dry not because the paint was wet and the paint came out different colors even after it had been again after just being mixed and shook 30 minutes before and it isn’t like the new paint was a completely different color it should have been close the the color the walls already were so if you want you walls to look good don’t buy paint at this store what do you think does the wall color match the card ? It doesn’t match to me

Extremely RUDE upper level staff. HORRIBLE return service. Straight up CALLED A LIAR by the older manager. (Apparently they have 2 store managers on site, the older manager was CRASS AND UNREASONABLE) They were MAKING UP return policies on the spot saying a 2 to 3 days used item would be fine for return but not 2 or 3 weeks -- AFTER I was explicitly told 30 days for a return for ANY REASON originally. They claimed that employee (Cody Norris - Was super friendly to me) didn't have the right to say that to me. I then inquired if they employee would be better informed on return polices or if any repercussions would be held for this mistake. The managers asked me what I'd like to be done about it, asking if I wanted the employee fired, I said no I would not want that. In reply to that they said well good because we will not do that. Seemed very rude and out of place to even mention. Would NEVER SHOP HERE again but I settled for store credit with the younger manager after arguing for 15 mins. Maybe I'll give the gift card to someone I really dislike so they can experience this terrible store service.

Very poor business practices, we bought 85 pickets to build our fence. 59 of them were unusable, started to return them, was told they would not take them back, we were not offered to be buy a better grade, we didn't know there was a better grade, and were not told we would not be able to return the bad ones we got. So basically we paid almost 300 dollars for useless pickets, sorry, will not do business with them

My husband and I went in last night in need of some supplies for a home project. An employee, Carson, made our trip easy and seamless. We have never received such good customer service from any other store like this. He went above and beyond to help us. We will definitely be using CHC for all of our projects going forward.

Very convenient to have in a small town. And it will typically have everything you need for home repair or projects (large or small). It even has pet supplies, plants, candles, some toys, and a small candy section. My main reason for docking a star is that it can be a bit pricey compared to other sellers. I go there regularly and I haven't had a problem with any of my purchases and the staff is very helpful, but there have been several things I've abstained from buying simply because of how expensive they were there.
