It was a eye opening experience. This weekend my son is getting married finally at age 44 yrs old. He lives in Mountain View, AK. I have been shopping in many establishments in Mayfield buying things that my son and soon to be daughter in law do not have access to. My last stop was buying Champagne and my son loves Miller Lite. After several weeks of wearing a bulky back brace due to injuries from a fall. My doctor this past Monday gave me the ok to take it off but can not lift, pull or stain myself. So I needed to bring my daughter with me to help. We walked in I asked where I could find the beer and champaign since I do not drink I am not familiar where even beer was located. As my doctor pushed the cart, picking up the heavy cases, I have to assume it was the manager came over to me and asked for my daughter's ID. She does not get out much and didn't bring her wallet. Regardless,she was told to leave the store and I was told I was banned from ever coming in, due to I brought a " minor" in. I was trying to wrap my head of what I was being told. I'm 66 yrs old and stayed civil and cordial while leaving the store. I drove to another alcohol establishment not far. I told my daughter stay in the car. I went in told the clerk my list which included several bottles of 90.00 champagne . The clerk made a point to assist picking up all the heavy boxes , checking me out and had no issue carrying out the 1400.00 of merchandise I purchased and putting it into my vehicle for the the much needed celebration after loosing my husband days away from 1 yr. So I can not say my experience was closely even being good. It could have been smooth if a employee would have made a effort to assist me, and not stressing about being banned for 2 more years. I have no desire to even want to go back. It's.laughable that my daughter is leaving to go to college end of this summer and I'm sure she will have access to alcohol if she chose which side note * she hates the taste and I only know from her honesty* of spending time with friends that had her try it. So to be clear I am a strong advocate of MADD. I was not going to allow this bad experience ruin a glimpse of happiness I'm having in my life after all the heartbreak and set backs I endure this past year .

Stocked with plenty of high-quality booze brewed from micro breweries, which I personally consider amazing. Great location as well. It's pretty much located right in the center of Paris Rd, where all the local food, home improvement, auto, grocery, and entertainment businesses are located.

Good prices and a great selection. Clean store and friendly staff. I do not go thru Mayfield without stopping by. And if they don't have it, and they can get it, they will find it for you.
