We had an incredible experience at Blue Compass RV in Des Moines, Iowa! After searching for over a year for the perfect RV, Terrell was absolutely the best salesman we could have asked for. Within just 12 hours, he found exactly what we were looking for! His professionalism, knowledge, and dedication were truly unmatched.

A huge shoutout to Jay, the mechanic, as well. He was amazing, completely trustworthy, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in check and working perfectly before we drove off. His attention to detail gave us complete confidence in our purchase.

We bought a camper from Blue Compass Altoona in January 2024. When we were looking it over, we were not allowed on the roof, so we had to trust their inspection. A tech from Blue Compass was up there and did all the caulking on the roof and had to have seen the very large rotted area around the air conditioner that we discovered later that summer. The reason I know the tech had to have seen this damage is because it was very close to where they did some caulking, and they would have had to be careful where they step, as they would have fallen right though to the living space. We tried letting them know of this major damage and tried working with them to get it repaired, but they responded to very little of our communications. They did offer us a small amount of money towards a patch job fix, but we had to remove all negative reviews of them in exchange. We didn't agree to this and would rather spread the word about their lack of responsibility and competency.

Andy and Jason at Blue Compass RV Des Moines were great to work with. Made the long distance transaction easy and answered all my questions quickly. They were flexible when it came to pick up my Airstream 19CB Caravel! Coming from Colorado driving to Iowa, lots of weather issues in January. The demonstration of everything was great, thorough and complete for this newbie! I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the RV market! Great prices, selection and service! It’s worth the drive!

Great customer service is not just a transaction, it's an experience. To take it to a true five star level for a big company it needs to be consistent through all departments especially from sales to service and at all locations. This is often times a huge challenge for most big multi location companies. Well, Blue Compass delivers!  We purchased our camper a year and a half ago at the location in St. Louis (then Great Escapes). We worked with Josh who went above and beyond to answer all of our 1k questions, okay that's a bit of an exaggeration lol, but my husband MUST have all the details. And Josh came through for us so we bought it! Now here we are a year and a half later with an AC issue in 90 degree heat and we call Blue Compass in Altoona IA and speak with Chris Vold in service who we find out is himself a Level 3 technician, how lucky for us (and honestly great hiring on their part). Much to our surprise he manages to get us in with our rig at 8 am the following morning.  Chris is an absolute pleasure to work with and he is no question a pro at offering top notch service! By 5 pm the service tech, who also did a great job, had our AC up and running with minimal service cost compared to what we were anticipating. During our visit we walked through the showroom and chatted with a sales rep and looked at new campers.  He was great too!  This level of service will keep you coming back for more and honestly we would never need to go anywhere else. We love Blue Compass and if we could give more than 5 stars we would!

There isn't enough I can say about this dealership. Jasmine from the get go has been nothing but professional and has communicated every step of the way. Roscoe in finance also amazing! The walk through Austin was hands down 5 stars! He knows his stuff, took the time to explain the ins and outs of our unit. To say he is just knowledgeable is a BIG understatement.
