This hotel is a must for anyone in the area! The owners are incredibly responsive and provided some of the kindest, best service we’ve had in a long time. The room is absolutely stunning with amazing attention to detail. It was our first time in the area and we will definitely be back in the future!

Beautiful little building, very well kept and welcoming. Check in was very easy and parking is available right outside. Even had a few bikes to use for free on the bike path right next door. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would stay there again!

Wife and I came here years ago for busker festival and fell in love with this place.Now come every year and anytime we are within 100 miles we stay!! Gardens,porches,room all work to make one of the most romantic and relaxing stays you’ll ever have!!

I’m in love with this hotel and this town. Honestly everything was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well located. The town is so quaint and green. We cycled through the city at sunset and had the best time. When we came back, there was live music at the restaurant/bar and you could hear the sound of kids laughing and playing outside. It was amazing

We stayed at this beautiful old hotel.... Very clean and comfortable... Within walking distance to restaurants in a very friendly town... We had a slight issue with the room which was taken care of immediately. It was about 50 minutes from New Orleans. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely and charming hotel. We stayed in the Parlor King Suite. Meticulously clean, with many thoughtful touches. The host has really thought of everything you could possibly need.

Unfortunately I only got about 5 hours of sleep before our early morning flight, but the setting and bed was so peaceful, it felt as though I'd slept much longer!

Soaking tub was not quite deep enough to cover me at 5'8" (overflow drain prevented this), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The shower was also heavenly; great water pressure and it stayed HOT. Exhaust fan in the bathroom isn't very powerful, so it does get a bit foggy and humid.

Nearly all of the lights are dimmable, and the HVAC is remote controlled.

The vanity is lovely! Only recommendation would be better lighting, as it didn't have any illumination or magnification for applying makeup; I had to use the bathroom mirror for this.

I wish we had more time to enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch, and the fountain in the back yard. My only regret is not booking more than one night. 🤣

Just a GREAT quiet place to relax and unwind! A few good places for food near by. Nice bike paths to explore. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds.
